Accessibility Statement
This statement explains the level of accessibility this website aims for, what is actually in place today, what is not, and how to tell us when something is a barrier for you.
1. What we aim for
This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. That is the benchmark we measure ourselves against, and the level we want to hold as the site changes.
These pages are static HTML. They are delivered exactly as written, contain no application logic, and need no account, no script and no third-party resource in order to be read. That makes a whole class of accessibility problems impossible here by construction — but it does not make the site automatically accessible, which is why the two sections below are kept separate.
2. What we have already done
These are measures that are present in the current site, not intentions:
- Semantic structure. Every page uses real landmarks — header, navigation, main content and footer — with one
h1per page and headings that do not skip a level. A "skip to content" link is the first focusable item on every page. - Text contrast. The light-paper palette these documents use was measured rather than assumed: body text, links, labels and captions all exceed the 4.5:1 contrast ratio WCAG 2.1 AA requires for normal text.
- Visible focus. Every link and every focusable element shows a clear focus ring, including the horizontally scrollable tables, which accept keyboard focus so they can be scrolled without a mouse.
- Keyboard operation. Everything on these pages can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone. There are no menus, carousels or custom controls here that require a script.
- Reduced motion. The pages honour the operating system's "reduce motion" setting and neutralise animation when it is on. These pages use no decorative motion in any case.
- Text that scales. Text is sized in relative units, so it follows your browser's font-size and zoom settings, and the pages do not block pinch-zoom on a phone.
- Self-hosted fonts with a metric-matched fallback. The typefaces are served from this domain, and a local fallback with matched metrics is used until they load, so text does not shift while the page settles.
- No third-party requests. These pages load nothing from anyone else — no analytics, no tag manager, no embedded media, no third-party scripts. That removes a class of third-party widgets we could not make accessible ourselves.
3. What we have not done
We would rather state these limits than imply more than is true:
- No independent audit. This website has not been audited by a third party. The checks summarised above were carried out by us, against the guideline text.
- No testing with assistive-technology users. We have not yet tested these pages with people who use screen readers, switch control, voice control or other assistive technology.
- No formal conformance claim. We are not certified as WCAG 2.1 level AA conformant, and we do not claim that every page satisfies every success criterion. Section 2 describes the measures that are in place, and no more.
- The iOS app. This statement covers this website. Accessibility of the ProperHabit app is handled through the support channel in section 4; there is no separate published statement for the app yet.
4. How to report a barrier
If something on this website is a barrier for you — text you cannot read, a control you cannot reach, a page that behaves badly with your screen reader or your display settings — please tell us. You do not need to know the technical name of the problem.
- Email: hi@zordonintelligence.pl, with Accessibility in the subject line.
- Helpful to include: the page or address, what you were using (for example VoiceOver, Voice Control, Switch Control, keyboard only, Larger Text, Reduce Motion or increased contrast), and what happened.
What happens next: we aim to reply within a few days, and we will either fix the problem or explain clearly why we cannot and what you can use instead. Accessibility reports are prioritised — see the Support page.
5. European Accessibility Act
The European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) and its Polish implementing act set accessibility requirements for certain products and services. This section is a statement of intent, not legal advice, and it is not a claim that those requirements do or do not apply to us, or that any exemption covers us.
Our position is the same either way: we aim for WCAG 2.1 level AA on this website, we want to hear about barriers, and we will keep improving. If professional advice later gives us a more precise obligation, we will follow it.
6. Changes to this statement
We will update this statement when the website or the measures described above change, and the "Last updated" date at the top will move with it. If we ever commission an independent audit or test these pages with assistive-technology users, we will say so here.
